INNOVATOR's fully automatic Double Knife Veneer Guillotine with Gluing System particularly designed for automated production of customers combines veneer cutting and gluing functions.

The veneer bundle is cut and glued while the whole veneer bundle is fully pressed (the pack beam does not rise) for accurate linear cutting and gluing effects.

The model completely overcomes the problems that thick glue spills on the surface of veneers. It also avoids uneven glue application due to manual gluing and increases gluing stability for the following splicing effects.

This model not only reduces labor costs but minimizes the breakage due to manual carrying.

Complete cutting and gluing cycle sequence

1. The operator places the veneer bundle against the clamps and sets the width to cut with the HMI or the laser unit.

2. When the start button is pressed, the veneer bundle which is clamped automatically moves forward into position for the first cut. The veneer bundle is pressed and the clamps release the bundle. After cutting and the glue application, it is held again in position by clamps, the pack beam rises.

3. The veneer bundle moves forward to the position for the second cut. The bundle is pressed again. After the second cut is made and the glue applied, the clamps return back to operator's position.

4. The rear transporting device moves the well-cut and glued veneer bundle onto a roller unit.
